Schedule & Session Topics

9:00 AMSession 1: The Power of Godly Influence and the Legacy It Leaves

Did you know that you have influence? You do! The question is, what you are doing with the influence that God has given you? You have influence with your children, your friends, family, co-workers. What are you doing with it? How is your faith influencing those around you? In this powerful presentation, Heidi will share six character traits of leaders who have successfully navigated the ups and downs of leadership and used their influence to make a difference in the lives of those around them. Your legacy is already being built. What will it be?

10:00 AMBreak

Snacks and drinks (hot and cold) will be provided. Spend some time perusing Heidi's book selections and visiting with others.

10:45 AMSession 2: I Want to QUIT Homeschooling! (But before you do, hear this!)

Heidi’s hunch is that you don’t need to quit… you need to see things new; to have fresh perspective and renewed vision. And maybe you need chocolate. That too. Come join Heidi for an hour of encouragement and chocolate. You’ll be glad you did!

12:00 PMLunch

If you purchased lunch, please pick up your box in Garrett Hall. Seating is available in all rooms except the sanctuary. We've allowed extra time to visit with friends, meet new friends, and visit Heidi's merch table.

1:00 PMSession 3: Homeschool in Freedom and Find Joy

Have you ever found yourself drawn to “formulaic” parenting? If your homeschool has lost its JOY, or if you are struggling to find time to disciple your children, in the midst of homeschooling, this session is for you. Listen in as Heidi shares three pitfalls of modern homeschooling and offer ways to guard against them and flourish—from diapers to diplomas!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Can I attend just part of the conference?
Yes, you are welcome to come to any or all sessions! The ticket price is the same for all attendees, regardless of how many sessions you attend.

Can I bring my children?
We will not have childcare available. Nursing babies (not toddlers) are welcome! Otherwise, we ask that tickets be purchased only for ages 15+.

Is this just for homeschoolers?
No, all are welcome! While the bulk of the conference will be focused on homeschooling, please join us if you are curious about homeschooling, are a grandparent hoping to support your grandchildren in their homeschooling, need guidance for your family, or if you have been homeschooling for many years! There will be pearls of wisdom applicable to all!

Can I invite a friend or family member?
Yes, please! If you are a member of RHG, please let your friends and family know ticket sales will be open to everyone on January 6, 2025. Tell them to mark their calendars and be sure to share the site.

What if I can't make it to the conference? Can I get a refund?
Rainier Homeschool Group is a nonprofit organization and is running this event at cost, so we are not able to offer refunds. However, you may transfer your ticket to someone you know and arrange payment OR let us know that you would like to transfer it to someone else.
